Simple House Cleaning Tips For An Easter Vacation

Updated: Jun 17

For many, Easter is a celebration that holds great importance and can be fun with endless easter egg hunts. Additionally, in some traditions, Easter is also a holiday that includes spending more time cleaning! If you are wondering how to prepare for Easter, we recommend creating a list of tasks.

Start with any clutter or gathering trash. You’ll want to clean the areas and all rooms such as the bathroom, dusting, wiping counters, etc. Rule of thumb is to start from the top and work your way to the bottom. This way, you won’t be spending double or triple the amount of work vacuuming or mopping!

If you’ve already begun spring cleaning, be sure you’ve organized the small stuff as well such as filing cabinets, kitchen cabinets, guest rooms, plastic bins, organizing office desks, de greasing the oven, cleaning the microwave and fridge, etc..

Last, but not least, follow your daily or weekly cleaning routine to complete the rest. If you plan on creating an easter egg hunt, hide the eggs in areas you don’t typically clean or enter.

Cleaning doesn’t have to be a hassle when you have a plan to get you back to celebrating!
