Like Mother Like Daughter

When I was just a little girl, my Mom taught me all about house cleaning. Every Saturday morning she would wake me up at the crack of dawn (we never skipped a Saturday), pop in a Fats Domino cassette and away we went. We cleaned everything top to bottom, ceiling to floor. Mom was so persnickety you could literally eat off of the floors!

I learned that if you cleaned the kitchen after dinner, washed all the dishes, cleaned the stove top and counter tops then it would make for a much more pleasant breakfast experience. When I took the time to do a load of laundry every night, I had more free time on the weekend. I quickly found out that cleaning up my bathroom after getting ready every morning, afforded a much quicker cleaning experience when it came time to clean the toilet, tub and floor.

This was a pretty tough experience for me because Mom was very detailed. Everything had to be spotless and in order at all times. Through this rearing of consistent cleaning I learned everything I possibly could learn about taking care of a home, even if I didn't want to know! There is not one thing that I do not know how to clean within my home, thanks to my Mom!

As I have gotten older I really came to appreciate everything my Mom taught me. I learned everything I needed to know to start my own housecleaning business in Norman, OK, Maid OK.
